Religious Education Registration & Sacramental Preparation
Welcome to St. Patrick Parish's Religious Education Program!
We are excited to partner with you in your child's faith journey. Whether your child is continuing in Religious Education or preparing to receive a sacrament, we are honored to accompany your family in this important journey of faith. Our program helps children and teens deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ through prayer, learning, participation in the Mass, and the life of our parish community.

First Holy Communion
Grades 2–7
For baptized children preparing to receive First Holy Communion for the first time.
Program requirements

Required Parent/Guardian Meetings
Students attending Lawrence Catholic Academy attend Mass and parent meetings but are not required to attend Sunday Religious Education because they receive religious instruction during the school week.
Confirmation
Grades 8–High School
For baptized students who have already received First Holy Communion and are preparing to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation.

Students attending Lawrence Catholic Academy attend Sunday Religious Education.
First Holy Communion AND Confirmation
Grades 8–High School
For baptized students who have not yet received First Holy Communion and are preparing to receive both First Holy Communion and Confirmation.
This program follows the Order of Christian Initiation for Children (OCIC) adapted for baptized older children.

Child Has Never Been Baptized?
Age 7 - High School
Children age seven and older who have never been baptized participate in the Order of Christian Initiation for Children (OCIC).
Through the OCIC process, children prepare to receive:
Baptism, First Holy Communion, Confirmation
This preparation is designed especially for children beginning their journey in the Catholic faith.
