Relay for LCA

Why?  The cost of education this year at Lawrence Catholic Academy (LCA) is $7,970 per student. Our families contribute tuition, but where does the rest of the money come from to educate our children? We receive generous contributions from foundations, parishes, businesses, and individual donors. The money raised through the Relay for LCA will be used to help fund the cost of education for all students at Lawrence Catholic Academy.

 

What?  At the Relay for LCA, students and friends of LCA will walk around the ¼ mile track at the Lawrence Veterans Memorial Stadium for two consecutive hours. Walkers can add family members and friends to their team to make the two-hour walk a Relay. Sponsors pledge money to Walkers to support their walk. All money raised will be used to support the education of all students at LCA.

 

When?  Saturday, May 21, 2022, from 12:00 to 4:00 pm. Rain or shine: no rain date!

 

Where? Lawrence Veterans Memorial Stadium: 240 Osgood Street, Lawrence MA 01843

 

How?  Walkers should download and print the flyer below. Complete the form on the back of the flyer. Enter the name of the Walker and any accompanying Team Members. List the names of all sponsors and the amounts they donate to support the Walker (and Team Members, if there are any). Walkers should collect all money from sponsors BEFORE the event and bring all donations with them to the Relay for LCA. Cash and checks are welcome. Checks should be made out to “Lawrence Catholic Academy”.

 

A bag lunch will be provided for each Walker and Team Member.

 

All Walkers should begin walking at the stadium no later than 2:00 pm on May 21!​
